SPARKS! Interns and Programs
Through our free SPARKS! initiatives and the annual FireFish Festival, we offer essential arts programming that unites and inspires our community.
We provide Lorain youth with paid internships alongside professional artists and educators, focusing on STEAM, design thinking, and creative enrichment.
By leading key elements of our festival and neighborhood workshops, these interns gain leadership skills and see firsthand how they can positively transform their city.
By weaving creativity into the local landscape, we empower youth and artists to drive Lorain’s growth and vitality.
Paid interns design, build, and lead real projects—gaining creative skills, confidence,
and experience bringing ideas to life.
